Rain in Islam is a blessed time. Rain brings with it fruits of provision, cleanses are world, and brings joy to many of our brothers and sisters. For those living in some parts of the world, rain is a rare occurrence. For others, it is a common blessing. In either case, we should be grateful for the rain and make dua for rain when it is needed. Here are some duas for rain in Islam.

رَبَّنَا
اغْفِرْ
لِي
وَلِوَالِدَيَّ
وَلِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ
يَوْمَ
يَقُومُ
الْحِسَابُ
O Allah! Let it be a strong fruitful rain. From Sahih al-Bukhari 1032.

غَيْثًا
مُغِيثًا

غَيْرَ
ضَارٍّ
عَاجِلاً
غَيْرَ
آجِلٍ
O Allah! give us rain which will replenish us, abundant, fertilising and profitable, not injurious, granting it now without delay. From Sunan Abi Dawud 1169.
