Dua Before Studying

عِلْماً
O my Lord, increase me in knowledge!
This dua comes from Surah Taha, Ayat 114 from the Holy Quran. Knowledge isn't just for studying, this could be applied to any success, be it financial, spiritual, or personal. May Allah increase you in all good things.

Allah's blessings be upon Muhammad and his descendants. I beseech you, O Allah, who mentions kindness, actualizes it, and demands it, to remind me of what the shaytan has made me forget.
This is a very well known salawat that our Prophet Muhammad (SAW) taught to the sahaba. It is a powerful dua to keep your mind focused and free from distractions. It is also a great dua to make before studying, as it will help you remember what you study.
Dua to Perform on the Day of the Exam
رَبِّ
اشْرَحْ
لِي
صَدْرِي
وَيَسِّرْ
لِي
أَمْرِي
وَاحْلُلْ
عُقْدَةً
مِّن
لِّسَانِي
يَفْقَهُوا
قَوْلِي
My Lord, expand for me my chest [with assurance], and ease for me my task, and untie the knot from my tongue that they may understand my speech.
On the day of the exam, make this dua and ask Allah to unlock for you the knowledge you have gained during your studies. A lot of students have worked hard to study weeks leading up to the exam, or cramming all a class's information the days and nights before. Many students have the knowledge inside of them, but the nerves the exam brings can make it difficult to recall that knowledge.
Make this dua, and help Allah help you remember what you have studied.
